Oceania's Regatta Itinerary
December 13-15, 2017
I'd never flown in the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and really wanted to for either outbound and/or return legs Sydney-Denver. Suzy being the master of all things related to points, miles and award programs used one of our programs to get me Polaris Class to and from and another program for her Polaris class seats, and 'yes,' we were/will be on the same flights.
While a pilot in the AF I spent many hours over the Pacific, but never 15 hours in one leg.
We found the 787 to be quite comfortable and quiet. When awake Cap watched the map and waded thru many back issues of magazines while Suzy watched a movie.
We arrived in Sydney on time (luggage too) and immediately checked on Regatta. She was in Tasmania. She'll next sail to Melbourne and then Sydney where we'll embark on the 20th.
